Chapel Of St. Lawrence Travel Map

Chapel of St. Lawrence is located at a distance of about 5 km from Candolim Beach along the Fort Aguada Road. This Chapel is dedicated to St. Lawrence, a patron saint of sailors. Palacio Ajuda, a massive structure built by Jimmy Gazdar, can be seen outside the chapel gate. It is the most important chapel among all the Goan Chapels. 10th of August is celebrated as the feast day of this chapel, which usually coincides with Narali Purnima.
