Shri Bhagavati Temple, situated in Pernem Taluka, is a 500 years old temple. It is famous for an image of Bhagavati Asthbhuja, Goddess Durga. The idol of Goddess Durga is in the standing position and is placed on a high pedestal. At the entrance of the temple, there are two life-size images of elephants, made of black stone. The annual Zatra Festival in December and Dussehra, are celebrated in a grand manner at this temple.
