Candolim Beach

Candolim Beach lies around 2.5 km away from Sinquerim and is considered as one of the calmest beaches of Goa. The beach is renowned for offering opportunities to engage in activities like fishing, speed boat rides, jet-skiing, parasailing and paragliding. Spotting crocodiles and dolphins during the boat rides is a popular activity enjoyed in Candolim. The Candolim Church is the major attraction located near this beach. It was constructed in 1560, in the Portuguese style of architecture. The Fort Aguada is another popular tourist attraction near this beach. This fort features citadels, a lighthouse, a big clock and a bell. The St. Lawrence Chapel, dedicated to St. Lawrence, is also much visited.
