Church of St. Jerome was constructed on the ruins of the main pagoda of an ancient monastery. The church is believed to be around 407 years old. It has an altar which is devoted to Our Lady of Miracles. The church is known for the 3 days long feast of Our Lady of Miracles that is organised on the second Monday after Easter. Christians as well as Hindus worship Our Lady of Miracles. It is believed that the Hindu festival 'zatra' is linked with the Feast of Our Lady of Miracles.
