Dahej Port is situated in the Bharuch District, at the junction of Guljaria and the Ban Creek. It lies on the extreme west coast of India and is used by the huge ocean-going marine vessels. Further, the port is also used for handling industrial cargo. This port is just 2 km from the main Gujarat shoreline and has jetties and transit sheds. Dahej is also famous for the sole Liquid Chemical Port Terminal in India, which was developed by the Gujarat Chemical Port Terminal Company Limited. This place also has a Liquefied Natural Gas (LPG) Terminal.
