The Great Rann of Kutch is located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of the Indian state of Gujarat and the Sindh province of Pakistan. Comprising species of trees such as Apluda and Cenchrus, the region is the only place in Pakistan and India where flamingos arrive for breeding. Tourists visiting the site can also visit the Banni Grasslands Reserve, Chari-Dhand Wetland Conservation Reserve, Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary and Kutch Bustard Sanctuary. The Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary, Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary and Indo-Pak border are some of the other attractions of the site.
