Champaner Pavagadh Archaeological Park

The Champaner - Pavagadh Archaeological Park is renowned for its Hindu and Jain temples with architecture representing a blend of Hindu and Islamic styles. The park has received the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The place houses an unexcavated city of the 15th and the early 16th centuries. The site comprises of fortifications, palaces, water installations and religious places dating from the 8th to the 14th centuries, which are about 100 in total.
