Bhalka Tirth is one of the major pilgrim attractions situated in the vicinity of Somnath, at a distance of 5 km on Prabhas-Veraval highway. There is a temple and a banyan tree at this Theerth, which are dedicated to Lord Krishna. As per legends, it was at Bhalka Teerth that Lord Krishna was hit by an arrow aimed by a hunter, Jara, towards the end of Dwapara Yuga.
