Vadodara

Vadodara is the third-largest city in the Western India state of Gujarat, after Ahmedabad and Surat. It is situated on the banks of Vishwamitri River and is famously referred a the cultural hub of India. Vadodara has some interesting sights, beautiful art galleries and museums that attracts tourist in the city. It houses one of the most lavish palaces in India, The Lakshmi Vilas Palace and the premiere university - Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda which are the other famous tourist attraction. Tourist mainly try to cover this city as a base for a one day trip to the nearby World Heritage Site of Champaner and Pavagadh.
