Kunihar

Kunihar was named by Rajiv Gandhi, owing to its shape like a garland. This valley is located between the mountains in the Solan District. Sometimes known as ‘Hatkot’ and Choti Vilayat’, this valley was founded in 1154 by Abhoj Dev, a Raghubansi Rajput from Akhnoor in Jammu. The valley is famous for the Shri Devi Temple and Shri Dano Devta Temple, dedicated to Kulja Devi and Dano Devta, respectively. Kunihar Talab is another prime attraction of this town
