Chail

Chail is a beautiful hill station in Solan district in an Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Chail is famous for two monuments first is Kali ka Tibba is situated at the top of a hill it is also known as Kali Devi Temple and second is Chail Palace is well known for its architecture. It attracts a lot of pilgrims and tourists from all across the world. Tourist can enjoy to visit these spots like School Play Ground – The highest cricket ground in the world, Sadhupul Lake, Chail Palace Hotel, Kali Ka Tibba, Siddh Baba Ka Mandir, Gurudwara Sahib, Chail Wildlife Sanctuary,Himalayan Nature Park, Kufri.


How to reach Chail

By Air

The nearest airport is at Chandigarh, 50 kilometers away. It has good connectivity with Delhi. Private taxis and cabs are available for Chail and other nearby places. The road network is well maintained and the travel is a breezy affair.

By Train

The nearest railhead is at Kandaghat Railway Station (Narrow Gauge) which is situated at a distance of 30 kilometers! It is recommended to travel upto Shimla as transport options are better. Kalka is the major railway junction which is 77 km away and being on broad gauge line network, connectivity is excellent with all over India. State transport buses and private taxis are available and the commute is scenic throughout.

By Road

Chail is well connected to all major towns nearby including Shimla. Major cities like Chandigarh, Ambala and have frequent buses to Shimla. You can get taxis to reach anywhere as traveling is never a problem in Himachal Pradesh.
