Kareri is a village located in Dharamshala, which is famous for its Kareri Lake that is situated towards the south of Dhauladhar Mountain Range. This lake is situated 9 km north-west of Dharamshala, in the district of Kangra. The fresh water lake is located around 2,934 m above the main sea level.It is also an ideal destination for trekking in Dharamshala.
