Ramgarh Fort

Situated at a distance of 21km from Nalagarh, Ramgarh Fort is a historical monument and a heritage hotel popular for its architecture and location. The fort was built around 350 years ago by Raja Ram Chander of the Chander Rajput rulers. The fort is standing atop a hill, at a height of 4000 ft above sea level and provides good views of the Shivalik Range.At the entrance of the fort, there is a 37 ft tall door, considered the tallest in India. The fort houses an ancient well, tunnels and a sun dial. The interiors and rooms of the fort are decorated with ancient furniture and mosaics
