Hatkoti valley lies at a height of 1,100 metres above the sea level and is surrounded by mountains. It was developed by the junction of Pabbar River and the streams, namely Raanvati and Bishkulti. There are numerous temples with wooden doors and stone walls and thus, the village has been named as 'Valley of Stone Temples'.As per mythology, the valley is regarded as the pilgrimage area where the duel between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati took place. Apart from being a revered region, the site is famous for trekking, rafting and mountaineering
