The Shargole Monastery is situated in Shargole village which lies 10 km ahead of Mulbekh. The village is popular for the small old Ge-Lugs Pa Buddhist Monastery. An icon of an Avalokitesvara and the three images of Tara Devi carved on wood by Tibetan artists can be seen in the shrine. The Cantilever Monastery can be seen from the verandah of this monastery.
