Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid, located in Nowhatta, is one of the most important mosques in Srinagar. This mosque was constructed in 1400 AD by Sultan Sikandar. However, later the mosque was extended by Zain-ul-Abidin, who was the son of Sultan Sikandar.370 wooden pillars and beautiful courtyard along with Indo-Saracenic architecture are some of the attractions of Jama Masjid.
