Patnitop is a beautiful hill-station with meadows and panoramic view of the mountains covered with snow. It is basically the most famous hill-station of Jammu region. The place was originally known as 'Patan Da Talab', and than it changed into Patnitop. The dense deodar forests, rolling hills, and its breathtaking atmosphere makes it an ideal picnic spot. Number of outdoor activities such as trekking, skiing, paragliding, horse riding makes it great adventure place too. Most facourable time to visit Patnitop is from May to June and September to October. Tourists must visit this place once to make the experience all the more enjoyable.
