Thalasseri Fort Travel Map

Thalasseri Fort is situated around 22 km from Kannur and was constructed by the East India Company in 1708. During the British Rule, this fort was the main military centre of the British troops. This fort stands on a rocky cliff which is situated on the Thalasseri Beach. There is a big lighthouse at this beach, along with a church, cemetery and the collector's mansion. Calicut International Airport is located around 93 km from this fort and tourists can also travel from nearby Kannur Railway Station. Kannur is also connected by road and have regular buses to reach this fort.
