Payyambalam Beach Travel Map

The Payyambalam Beach is a popular beach located near the town of Kannur. This beach contains the mortal remains of several famous personalities like journalist Swadeshabhimani Ramakrishna Pillai, A.K. Gopalan and the former Chief Minister of Kerala, E. K. Nayanar. One of the prime attractions of this beach is a sculpture by the famous sculptor, Kanayi Kunjiraman, which portrays a mother and child.
