The Vamanamoorthy Temple, dedicated to one of the forms of Lord Vishnu, is located near Kalady, at Thrikkakara. This temple is famous for its architecture, reflecting the craftsmanship of Kerala. Various inscriptions, belonging to the period extending from the 10th century to the 13th century, are carved on the walls. The festival of Onam is organised on a grand scale at this temple.
