Pazhayangadi Mosque

Pazhayangadi Mosque, one of the prime attractions of Kondotti, is situated at a distance of around 18 km east of Manjeri. The mosque is associated with Muhammed Shah, a Muslim saint from Persia and is popularly known as Kondotty Thangal. Constructed as per the plan of a white dome and intricate filigree work, the mosque exhibits the example of Mughal style of architecture. Besides, the shrine is visitedby numerous devotees as well as tourists during the Valiya Nercha, a popular week long festival celebrated during the months of February or March.
