Meenangadi

Meenangadi Town is known for the St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church built in 1958. The Manikavu temple is another important pilgrimage site in Meenangadi and is devoted to Lord Shiva. It has a self-manifested Shivalinga on which the water pours continuously from a stream. There are many paddy fields in the region, along with tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper and rubber plantations.
