Pazhassi Raja Tomb is located in Mananthavady, at a distance of 17 km from Tholpetty. The Raja Pazhassi, also known as Lion of Kerala, was cremated here in 1805. He died after the war against the British East India Company. There is a museum at this site where the objects related to Raja Pazhassi, such as his swords, are on display. An aquarium, boating facilities and coin-operated toys for children are other highlights of the attraction. The Pulpally Cave, where Pazhassi Raja took refuge during the war, lies near the tomb.
