Sarkara Devi Temple Travel Map

Sarkara Devi Temple, one of the ancient temples, is located at Chirayinkeezhu, in the vicinity of Varkala. The temple has gained cultural and religious importance for its Kaliyoot festival, which is celebrated during the month of March or kumbham, as per the Malayalam calendar. Sree Saraswathy Temple, located in the vicinity, at Edava, is popularly known as Vidya Devi Temple. These temples are frequented during celebrations of Navarathri Sangeetholsavam and Vijayadesami Vidyarambam.
