Near to the region of Palghar, on the Arabian Sea coast, is the beach of Mahim that offers a picturesque view of the Arabian Sea. Mahim Beach is more popular for being a sunset point. Located near to the beach is the Mahim Fort that was built to defend against the invasion of the Portuguese.
