Panchganga Mandir

Panchganga Mandir is a renowned Hindu temple of this region, which attracts a lot of devotees every year. Built by Raja Singhandeo, the king of the Yadav of Devgiri, in the 13th century, the temple is located in Old Mahabaleshwar.In the 16th century, additional structures were added to the existing temple by the Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji. It is believed that the temple contains springs of five holy rivers, namely Koyna, Krishna, Venna, Savitri and Gayatri. The water stream emerges from the mouth of a cow that has been carved in stone.
