Mahatma Phule Vastu Sangrahalaya

Mahatma Phule Vastu Sangrahalaya was established in 1875 to serve as a platform for information and knowledge exchange. Earlier known as Mahatma Phule Museum, it displays marble statues, brassware items, stone carvings and oil paintings. Collections of the museum also include artefacts, textile, jewellery items, arms, armoury and handicrafts, along with items related to geology, agriculture, forestry, natural history and industry.Well-maintained library with a rare collection of books related to ways of life, art and culture are also put on display in the museum. Film shows and seminars are occasionally conducted in the museum. Marble statues, brassware, arms, jewellery, textile products and other items put on display in the museum have association with industry, geology and agriculture.
