Tungarli Dam And Lake

The Tungarli Dam of Rajmachi is built across the Tungarli Lake and is one of the most popular picnic spots of the town. This dam is situated in the Tungarli village, amidst the Sahyadri range of hills. The top of this dam also provides a panoramic view of the down city along with other places like Lonavala and Lohagad.The origination of this dam was done with the purpose of providing irrigation facilities to the Rajmachi region.
