Harihareshwar

Harihareshwar town is situated near Shriwardhan. The region was once ruled by the Peshwas of the Maratha kingdom. The region is popular for pilgrimage sites and a beach, Harihareshwar Beach, where visitors can go for a swim.Another attraction, the Ganesh Gully has been named after Lord Ganesh. It is believed that a statue of Lord Ganesh is immersed under water, deep inside the gully. The Kalbhairav Temple is another attraction of the region, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bagmandala village is also visited by many tourists.
