Redi Ganpati Temple

Redi Ganpati Temple is situated to the south-west of Sawantwadi, in the vicinity of Vengurla. It is believed that the statue of Lord Ganesha enshrined in the temple was found while digging up the shore in 1976. The idol is believed to have been sculpted during the reign of the Pandavas. The statue of Lord Ganesha is 6 ft high and 4 ft wide. The site is visited by many during the celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi.
