Dhamapur Lake

The Dhamapur Lake covers a total area of about 10 acres with water and offers facilities for water-based sports activities. As the lake is free from extreme wave, which makes it much suitable for adventure free boating. There is also a temple present in the area of the lake that is surrounded by greenery that is the Bhagwati Temple.King Nagesh Desai constructed this artificial lake in the year 1530 between the villages of Are and Katta. This lake consists of clear waters with hills surrounding on both the sides along with dense plantation of mango, coconut and areca palm. MTDC offers facilities for boating facilities along with huts to relax in the facilities surrounding the lake.
