Anjaneri

The village of Anjaneri bears a great mythological and historical importance. This place is considered holy and important as the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The village itself derives its name from the mother of Hanuman - Anjani. One of the famous attractions of this village is the Anjaneri Fort.There are a few Jain carvings on nearby cave walls.
