Padmatirtha is an important tirtha which is believed to have been created by Lord Vishnu at Washim town. There are two kunds at this site, one facing the north and another to the south. The site also has a small Mahadeva Temple, which was constructed by Shri Rama Narayan Toshniwal. For entering this temple, visitors need to cross an east-west bridge.There is also a shalunka inside the temple, which is believed to change colour thrice in a day, during the morning, afternoon and the evening. The tirtha was also used by the local people to immerse bones and ashes of the dead.
