The Surya Narayana temple is a popular temple of the region that was constructed in the 15th century AD. The temple has a tower over the altar. It pursues a circular plan and has numerous projections. Its base has small protruding niches and the sanctum is laid out on an octagonal plan with six protruding porches. The temple has many friezes of Lord Surya, which includes one with his chariot that is drawn by seven horses.
