Ranakpur

Ranakpur Village, widely known for its marble Jain temple, said to be the most spectacular temple of the Jainism. It is located in Desuri tehsil near Sadri town in the Pali district which is at a distance of 91 km from Udaipur, and 162 km from Jodhpur in an Indian state of Rajasthan. 

Along with magnificent architecture and numerous pillars, the place is also famous for large population of monkeys that live in and around the place. The ladies of the town donated 90 ounces of gold to the construction of the temple. Ranakpur is easily accessed by road from Udaipur.

The nearest airport is Udaipur which is 91 km south of Ranakpur. There are regular flights to Delhi, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Jodhpur, and Mumbai from Udaipur.

By Train

There are frequent express buses from Udaipur that take around three hours to reach Ranakpur. State buses as well as private buses connect Udaipur to other cities in the region.
