Mohan Nagar, a modern industrial township, is located on the Grand Trunk Karnal Road (G.T. Karnal Road). It lies at a distance of around 7 km from Ghaziabad. The town was established by N. N. Mohan in 1958 and is named after him. It is renowned for breweries, distilleries and cold storage, along with an ice factory and a soft drink factory.
