The pretentious town of Dhanaulti is slowly becoming a popular winter destination for the tourisrs because of its peaceful environment and its easy accessibility to the country capital, Delhi. It is well connected to various other cities of Uttarakhand also. This magical hill station is situated at an elevation of 2286 metres above sea level and offers magnificent views of the high peaks of Himalayan range. Dhanaulti is located in the proximity of the popular hill stations of Uttarakhand such as Kanatal, Mussoorie, Tehri and Chamba. Dhanaulti is enclosed by  tall oak forests, velvety rhododendrons and deodar. Since the hill station has heavy snowfall during winters, many tourists flock here in huge numbers during winters.

How to reach Dhanaulti
By Air

Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun is located around 80 kms away from this hill station and is the nearest airport. Regular flights operate from Delhi international airport and Jolly Grant Airport. There are regular buses and cabs available from the airport to the hill station.

By Train

Dehradun 60kms and Rishikesh 80 km are the nearest railway stations to Dhanaulti. Shatabdi express trains run from Delhi to Dehradun. Regular buses and cabs are available from the station to the hill station.

By Road

Bus connectivity to Dhanaulti with Mussoorie-Chamba road and other major cities like Roorkee, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital offers magnificent view while travelling via road network. There are buses from ISBT Kashmiri Gate Delhi at regular intervals moving to Tehri and other nearby places of Dhanaulti. There a motorable roads and easily available cab services which connect Dhanaulti with major cities in Uttarakhand and to other nearby states.
