How to reach Dehradun

By Air

Dehradun has its own airport, known as Jolly Grant Airport. It is located 20 km away from the city centre. You can hire a taxi from the airport which should not take more than 45 minutes to reach the city.

By Train

The Dehradun Railway Station is connected by regular train services to major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Ujjain, Allahabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, and Varanasi. Dehradun is connected to the rest of the country by Shatabdi and Express trains. Travellers can easily access Dehradun by trains from all major cities of India. These trains serve Doon Express, Dehradun AC Express, Bandra Express and the Amritsar- Dehradun Express.

By Road

Dehradun is well connected to all major cities like Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, Shimla and Mussoorie. You can easily access this city by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe and State Transport buses.
