Kandoliya

The temple of Kandoliya is located on the Lansdown road at a distance of 2 km from Pauri town. The temple is devoted to Kandoliya Devta and the deity of this temple is Lord Shiva. The temple also enshrines the idol of Bhumi-Devta and local people call it Devta Mandir. The premises of the temple is surrounded by a park and used by tourists and devotees for picnicking and resting. The sight of the Himalayan peaks and the Gangwarsyun valley is visible from this temple. Near thistemple, there is a stadium, which is popular as Asia's highest sports stadium.
