Vishwanath Temple Travel Map

Devoted to Lord Shiva, the Vishwanath Temple is situated around 300 m away from Uttarkashi's local bus stand. This temple received a new look after its renovation in 1857 by Sudarshan Shah's wife, Maharani Khaneti. The temple has a Shivling, 90 cm wide and 60 cm high. It is a very famous spot for visitors to Gangotri, Uttarkashi and Yamunotri.
