Sri Damodar Temple

Sri Damodar temple, situated on the banks of the Kaushavati River, is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that the idol enshrined at this temple was originally installed at the site of the Church of Holy Spirit. Both Christians and Hindus pay homage at this site.. Kushawati River, which is said to have healing powers, is near by the temple that can be visited. According to folklore, a dip in this river will cure several skin diseases. Every Monday, the Pallakhi of Sri Damoder can be seen at the temple. The annual fair at this temple is held between Ashwin Poornima and Vadya Chaturthi.
