Aishmuqam Shrine

Aishmuqam Shrine houses the historically important shrine of Shiekh Zain-ud-din (RA), from the 15th century A.D. for which it is known all over Kashmir. Shiekh Zain-ud-din was one of the chief disciples of Kashmirrsquo;s leading Reshi, Shiekh Noor-ud-din. Aishmuqam townrsquo;s hills have also been home to Hazrat Zain ud din Wali shrine, which is a main attraction for followers of every religion.It is said that Hazrat Zain ud din Wali also known as Zain Shah Sahib, confined himself in the cave to preach about Allah, who dedicated his entire life to Allah.
