Gundert Bungalow

The Gundert Bungalow is located around 20 km from the town of Kannur. This bungalow served as the residence of a famous German scholar and missionary, Dr. Herman Gundert. It is also the place where the first Malayalam newspaper was published. Built in the shape of a watchtower, this building is famous for its architectural work. This historical building was once used by the Judicial Magistrate Thomas.
