Queen's Palace

The Queen's Palace also known as 'Rani Vasa' is another significant part of the Raigad fort, situated between Gangasagar and Kushwatra Talaos. The portion of the Queen's Palace comprises of six chambers with each having its own private commode and bathing facilities. These rooms were used by the royal queens of Shivaji. The complete palace has been constructed using wood and its interiors also displays certain minarets of that time, out of which some are still in good condition.
