Raj Bhawan in Raigad is the site where Shivaji Maharaj administered his kingdom with his valour. The structure of this bhawan is the result of the architectural brilliance of Maratha era. This bhawan is placed on a dual podium with wooden columns supporting it from the four sides. Other attractions of the place include two large water tanks, which are supposed to be the place of royal bath of ancient times. Its architectural design also includes a modern toilet and a drainage system along with underground cellar. The place also displays idolized movements from the life of Shivaji.
