Meva Nagar was once known as Viranipur and is located on the slopes of Nagar-Ki-Bhakarian and is only 9 km from Balotra, in Barmer District. Meva Nagar has three Jain temples with the biggest one being devoted to Nakoda Parsvanath. There is also a Vishnu Temple.
