Government Museum

The Government Museum was established in 1915 and ranks as one of the oldest museums of Rajasthan. The museum is situated outside the fort palace and has paintings, rare manuscripts, sculptures and inscriptions belonging to 5th and 7th century. It also houses the idols that have been recovered from several ruins and statues of gods and goddesses such as the Ardhnarishvara, Trimurti, Natraj, Lakshminarayan, Krishna and Vishnu.
