City Fort Palace

The City Fort Palace is the most popular of all the forts and palaces in Kota and is one of the biggest fort complexes in Rajasthan. It is situated on the eastern edges of River Chambal and houses the rugged ramparts and bastion with balustrades and delicate domes. The Elephant Gate orHathi Pol that was built in the 17th century AD is the entrance to this fort.
