Bhitargaon Temple

Bhitargaon temple is a Hindu temple, which was built in the 6th century under the Gupta Empire. The temple is a terraced brick building, which is fronted with a terracotta panel and high Sikhara. The sanctum of this temple is constructed in Tri Ratha style with a domed ceiling. Sanctum is double storey; however the first story of sanctum felled in 1850.
