Miramar Beach

Miramar Beach, also known as the Gaspar Dias, lies close to the estuary of Mandovi River. In Portuguese, Miramar means 'viewing the sea'. The beach, lined with palm trees and facing the Arabian Sea, is visited by people for morning and evening walks. This 2 km long beach offers beautiful views of the Aguada Fort, located across the Mandovi River. During the winter season, migratory birds like plover and gull can be seen at the beach.
